Restaurant approved at Cheshire Oaks

A SHOP at Cheshire Oaks could become a restaurant, planners decided.
The application, which included an outside seating area, was put forward by the McArthurGlen Group at 60 Cheshire Oaks. Planning officers at Cheshire West and Chester Council were told that modern retailing required food outlets to be included in the surrounding scheme.
The Cheshire Oaks restaurant would include a takeaway.
The inclusion of outside seating would not have any detrimental effect on the footway for pedestrians and would be similar to other areas at the outlet.
The application was recommended for approval and the borough council agreed the change of use could have permission.
